The last day I joined the youth workers split session. The preacher was Matthew Johnson, and his scripture was from Proverbs 4:25-27.

1. Personal walk

   1. What are your priorities?

2. Silence the noise

   1. remove distractions from your life that may hinder your walk with God

3. Pouring out doesn't take long

   1. Take time to form connections and have meaningful conversation

4. Align with the pastor's visions

I related to this message yesterday when some information was revealed to me. Youth ministry is so much more than bible studies and youth events. Moving forward I want to take more time to make connections and use my testimony to encourage others.

Here Come the Apostolics

During the evening service, Chris Greene preached a powerful message from Mark 16:15-18.

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8

• When there is unity between the elders and the youth God's power will multiply.
